Lamborghini Huracan Perfromante, The Airbender

If you just had a new-born baby and still looking for a meaningful name for him/her , you can email Lamborghini for some suggestions because when it comes to naming cars, no one  does it better than the Italian car manufacturer. Looking back at the previous cars , can only lead you to come up with the same conclusion that I had . The Centenario , Huracan ,  Aventador , Gallardo , Murcielago , Diablo ,Countach and the list goes on to an endless pleasure just by hearing the rigorous nomenclature like Sesto Elemento ,Performente or Superveloce . 

The Huracan Performante is not an exception when it comes to the overwhelming emotions that this car holds within its heart-stopping , hair-raising almost orgasming looks . When the company became in 1998 under the supervision of Audi, fears that the brand will be detached from its emotions were raised but that turned to be a misinterpretaion and Lambo kept on providing cars like the Murcelago the Gallardo and the Aventador that insured the provision of great perfomance and equally great looks.


The Performante was released at the most iconic ,rather a benchmark of the automotive industry , Imola circuit . The circuit was considered one of the most difficult ones to go around and it did claim the lives of F1 drivers and the most tragic one was Senna's in 1994 . 
This car featrues a new enhanced body kit , but it is not for good looks only . The Performante introduced the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system better known for  ALA (I'll get to it in about a minute) . 

The new enhanced design features carbon fiber rear wing , front splitter and rear diffuser complemented with the Tricolore strip of the Italian flag on the sides to show how much the Italians are content wih their cars 


The Performante has the 5.2 Liter V10 engine as the standard Huracan but thanks to weight reduction the car is lighter by 40 kilograms and has 30 more horsepower making it a 640 hp Lambo . 
The Huracan Performante lsited a whooping 06:52:01 lap at the temple of the automotive industry , the Nuremberg ring making the fastetst car produced by VW group , even faster than the 918 by almost 5 seconds !! . Thanks to the 4 Wheel-Drive system and the 443 lb-ft of torque at 6500 rpm that propells the car from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds . But all the credit goes to the titanium valves  and its new ALA system that proved to be highly efficient . 


There are no notable changes at the cabin inside as the standard Huracan except the use of lighter materials to insure maximum weight reduction but you still get the same features inside . 


Now ,the ALA system. The Performante has an active aerodynamic system that helps the car to cut through air with the least drag possible . The difference between this car and other ones of its segment is that the Performante works jointly with air and not trying to avoide it to help the driver when needed at corners or at fast straight parts of the circuit . 
The Huracan Performante has electronically controlled clever flaps at the lower front and back of the car to monitor air flow and out of the vents at the back .


The rear wing is functional more than it looks , it gives the Perfomante 750% more downforce than the regular Huracan and that's because it has an air flow mechanism that I have never seen on any other car . Lamborghini has invented a new " Air Vectoring" system that insures a great distribution of down force on each side of the car , the system controls the air and where it should be when taking corners and that is of course for maximum grip for the car and maximum size of gentlemen parts for the driver , even if is a woman .


The ALA system insure both low and high down force , low for straight and high for corners and that is why this car is faster than Porsche's hybrid Prius . 

Lamborghini found out the secret that unlocked the gates for better perfomance with a naturally aspirated V10 . Cars engineers worked on developing technology that enables the car from avoiding air , but the Lambo decided to work jointly with air flow to provide a 200k dollars ultimate driving experience .

The Toyota Century , a name that was exclusively meant for Japan. The reason behind the birth of this model was the 100th birthday of Toyata's founder sakichi Toyoda.
