2018 Jaguar XE Special Vehicle Operations Project 8 , A Long Name

When Jaguar released a four cylinder F-type , I thought to myself " well ,after all these years , Jaguar are getting softer " especially when they gave us the V8 F-type and the SVR with their insane engines and exhausts tune . Fortunately I was wrong , because Jaguar has released its most powerful road going car ever made . It is based on the classy XE that was meant to rival the BMW M3 and the Alfa Romeo Guilia . The car is still called the XE but with a " Special Vehicle Operations " with a project 8 badge on the sides . The car is hand made , litreally , because it was assembled by people from Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations technical center located in Warwickshire England .


The car has bigger intakes , wider body kit and the most chubby tires you can get from Jaguar . The project 8 has 265 tyres at the front and herculian 305 rear rubbers mounted at the back so the car can hug the asphalt with out slipping uncontrollably . Because people from Jaguar wanted you to think that this car is really special , they decided to narrow its production volume to just 300 units , like the GTS from BMW . The car was meant to be special with the extensive use of carbon fiber on the bumpers , bonet , the splitters and the giant wing the car is surely lighter than the regular XE .

The car features some extreme lines , people from SVO division said every single line was carefully put into place for active aerodynamics and that shows how these people are serious about this car , they also wanted it to sound as close as a thunder storm so they granted it with a titanium active exhaust system so people can understand the car's performance pedigree .


As you can see the car is all wheel drive and that is standard for all the 300 versions , the engine is the same which is the mighty supercharged 5.0 Liter V8 aluminium block that was tuned to deliver 600 hp and 700 Nm of torque through all the four wheels which is a big number because the project 8 is capable of making the 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds ! 

The suspension is adjsutable for lower driving during races , to control the beast Jaguar fitted its SVO project 8 with massive brakes , they are the most advanced brakes ever fitted in a Jag . to be specific the brakes are  400 mm in diametre made from Carbon Ceramic with 6 piston calipers up front for efficient late braking .The XE SVO project 8 has a new track mode and clever technology behind it with its Electronic Active Differential for great handling and acceleration .


People from Jaguar gave their collectors a wide range of choices to customize their 150 k pounds cars. The car comes with either four seats or a more track focused two seater made from magnesium and a roll cage at the back for weight saving needs . It is still luxurious in the inside you get  Alcantara and Leather , 11 speakers sound system and other things to make your journey as classy as a regular XJ .

The car is heart stopping , especially the noise and the most important thing to know about this car , is that Jaguar will never get soft when it comes to producing great performance cars !!

The Toyota Century , a name that was exclusively meant for Japan. The reason behind the birth of this model was the 100th birthday of Toyata's founder sakichi Toyoda.
