Polestar 1 , Volvo's Best

This is the Polestar 1 , a car that many thought it won't be crafted to be road legal . Even after Volvo announced that they will consider making performance cars in the begining of 2017 through Polestar division, nobody pictured a hybrid Volvo that would rival the Model S of Tesla BMWs , Audis or Mercs .
But it's here and it looks quite like a Volvo, but before we begin the indepth look of this model we need first to introduce you to the heritage behind this car and the brand "Polestar" , it won't take long but the company been for almost 20 yeras now so it deserves a look back .
Volvo's first attempt to create a Sporty performance model began in 1996 through Flash Engineering a company that was dedicatetd to transform the Swedish reliability to a track focused beast in Touring championships , and they did it with the Volvo 850 model , they went on later with model like the S40 (by Tom Walkinshaw Racing ) and S60 ( by Flash Engineering anew) .
The year of 2004 was the turning point after the racing team was bought by Christan Dhai and rebranded in 2005 to Polestar , the newly named division introduced the Volvo C30 to represent the Swedish elegance in sporting events . In 2015 the Polestar division was bought by Volvo and rebranded again to Cyan with the no obvious reason . The point is , Flash Engineering , Polestar or Cyan , call it whatever you fancy is giving the world a Hybrid performance Volvo.

591 hp is the total amount you get from the three mounted engines that work altogether in harmony to provide the best of Volvo. As promised , the company fulfilled their promise and made a concept like car that is ready to tear the tarmac apart .
If you a Volvo to give a sporty smile for the shot , it would probably look like this . The simple , elegant and yet edgy design can only put emphasis on the car's track focused behaviour , it might like an XC90 but the point is thta the car needs to keep Volvo's signature within .

The back of the car is really simple , no drama apart from the quad exhaust system that keeps us hoping for a great sound although it is a 2.0 4 cylinder engine . Still , with the help of the two electric motors you will get an amount of torque that will gash the tyres if you went sideways for two long , 728 to be exact , but Volvo made sure that you will keep the tyres for as long as possible by fitting the car with four wheel drive system . The car is rumored to hit the 62mph mark in 3 seconds or so .

Volvo's anticipated practicality and luxurious feels is checked in the new Polestar and it is good place to be , even though we did not have the chance to experience it firsthand , it looks sublime .

Volvo been attempting to have their share of the high performance market since 1996 but never made it , now Polestar has made a genuine effort that will definetly rival the targeted opponents .
